10 Things I Hate About You is one of the most beloved romcoms of our time—not only is it sweet and romantic, but it’s also incredibly funny and quotable. So it’s no surprise that in the era of musical remakes, this ’90s classic is about to get the theater makeover, thanks to Lena Dunham and Carly Rae Jepson (yes, you read that right).

Can a theater reproduction really compare to the iconic film, especially when the cast (including Julia Stiles, Allison Janney, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and the late Heath Ledger) is just about perfect? I guess we’ll find out. But if it’s going to be successful, it has to preserve some of the original movie’s clever and heart-stopping dialogue—here’s some of our absolute favorites:
